I am delighted to send my warmest regards to all students, teachers and well-wishers of Padmashri Manibhai Desai College. As a living testament to the principles of service, simplicity and rural upliftment this college was established in the revered memory of Padmashri Manibhai Desai — a loyal disciple of Mahatma Gandhi. By encouraging education, independence and sustainable development in rural India Manibhaiji changed the lives of innumerable people.

Today, the college continues to uphold his noble vision by providing quality higher education rooted in Gandhian principles. I am glad to see that the college has successfully blended traditional values with modern learning, nurturing young minds who are not only academically sound but also socially conscious and ethically grounded.

It is critical that our young people continue to be guided by the principles of truth, non-violence and community service in an era of rapid change.
